Darren Barrenger, community activist and former parliamentary candidate

Darren attended the Wivenhoe Town Council meeting on Monday 21/09 as part of his engagement with the various communities across the Harwich & North Essex Constituency, where he was introduced to councillors by Town Mayor, Councillor Neil Lodge. The was a good deal of discussion around the potential introduction of extended residential parking in Park Road by the Borough Council. Representation wil be made to CBC to determine the reasons behind these proposals. Also discussed was the introduction of 20mph zones within Wivenhoe. The Mayor also announced three charity events; 1960's night at the William Loveless Hall on Saturday 10th October, 1940's Big Band Dance at the William Loveless Hall on Saturday 31st October and a trip to France and Belgium with Cedrics Coaches on 14th November.
