Meeting voters in Harwich

Darren & fellow campaigner Chris Hopkins meeting voters in HarwiOn Saturday 27th February, Darren and members of his campaign team spent the day in Harwich and Dovercourt, calling on people who had responded to his recent survey that he has been delivering across the constituency. Darren explained "Rather than spend my time trying to meet people for a few seconds, I would rather take the time to speak to them properly and engage with them to understand the real issues that they have."

Darren, along with fellow campaigner Chris Hopkins called on over 40 people during Saturday and they were both very pleased with the reaction on the doorstep. Speaking after the session, Darren said "For me politics is about making a difference, which you can only really start to do if you stop and listen to people."

He is repeating these sessions across the constituency calling on individual people, regardless of whether or not they have expressed a desire to support him or the Labout Party.

Promoted by Ray Collins, General Secretary, the Labour Party, on behalf of the Labour Party, both at 39 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0HA.
