Meet John Ford

At 55 John has been in the building industry all his working life, starting as a tradesman and later moving into management. Having been interested in politics all his adult life he has in recent years been active in his local branch of the Labour Party where he is Honorary Secretary. He has served the community locally as a Councillor and is very active on green issues. His company is at present developing, with the help of an Essex based University, a method of harvesting solar thermal energy for installation on new housing.
