"I have represented my town and local community at both town and district level. I was elected to Brightlingsea Town Council in 1995 and served on it for ten years. I also had the honour of being the Town Mayor for two consecutive years. I also served on Tendring District Council for four years and was a member of the Planning Committee for three years."
