Darren Barrenger, community activist and former parliamentary candidate

Darren joined hundreds of people at the Party in the Park in Harwich, organised by Harwich Connexions and sponsored by Harwich Town Council and the East of England Co-operative Society.

Speaking after the event Darren said, "This is a fantastic example of the sort of community spirit that we should all be very proud of and celebrate loudly. The event was packed with families and people of all ages. The organisers should be extremely proud of this excellent event."
